The setting is beautiful, and the fenced property gives dogs room to run around freely. It’s especially suited to a family who wants to bring their dog: only one person, family, or group stays there at a time, with no other guests. There aren’t any neighbors or other people around the property because of its location.

We never got to stay. We’d agreed by phone and messenger to book three nights, October 23 to 26, through the accommodation provider’s own website, and he said he’d mark it as booked on the other accommodation portals. Two days passed without a confirmation email. When we called, he told us someone else had already booked it. Our reservation is still showing on his website, while the booking he mentioned was apparently made through szallas.hu. He sounded phlegmatic and completely uninterested. A simple “sorry, I forgot to mark it as booked on szallas.hu,” since that’s how the double booking happened, would have been nice. I can’t give zero stars, so it’s one.

The place is fully dog-friendly, with plenty of space, a sauna, somewhere to cook, and a well-equipped kitchen. Each room has its own bathroom, and the house is in a beautiful spot. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to relax. The downsides were no Wi-Fi or phone signal, plus lots of crickets trying to get into the house. 😁

We didn’t end up staying because of a double booking. We booked the guesthouse on the host’s website, but it was also booked through another portal and he hadn’t let us know. When we called, he sounded uninterested and made no effort to find a solution. After that, we had no interest in the accommodation. I can’t recommend it because of the host’s attitude.
