After the heatwave and too many nights at campgrounds, I got lucky finding this stop. Check-in was easy, reception was friendly, and the rooms were as nice as a fancy hotel while still being great value. The place is a gem, with lovely amenities and everything kept in beautiful shape. The host was gracious and great with people, and even showed me the wine cellar. There was cold beer too. I'm an American journalist writing a series of articles about cycling in Europe, and I'll be recommending this place to other riders. If you're on a bike, or traveling another way, stop here. I'm sure some people can nitpick any stay, but honestly, you'd be hard pressed to find a better night's rest.

I picked Solt because EuroVelo6 runs through it, though I didn't get to see the whole community. The pension was fantastic. My room was really a studio, and it seemed to be decorated with care. The owner was very service minded. I also got breakfast, made with food from their own garden or prepared at home. Forget the other places nearby and stay at EuroVelo6 Stop!

After 104 km on touring bikes, it was a relief to find this place right on velo route #6. The host was amazing and the accommodations were fabulous, with a good mix of room sizes. They were also very accommodating about drying our clothes and storing all four bikes indoors.

We stayed in the garden studio and had loads of space, both indoors and out. The owner also made the most fabulous macarons. Absolutely wonderful.
