We stayed in room 106 from 3 PM check-in and found it comfortable, clean and well organized. It had everything we needed, including a safe, hairdryer and enough hangers, and the bed was comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The whole place felt tidy and well maintained, and the staff were kind, helpful and easy to approach whenever we had a question. Hotel Palatinus is a charming small hotel, nicely renovated, right in the heart of the old town. It’s a great base for exploring Sopron on foot, with the main sights, shops and restaurants all easy to reach. Breakfast was plentiful, varied and delicious. I can sincerely recommend Hotel Palatinus to anyone after a comfortable, well-equipped room in a great spot in the historic city center.

Breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious variety of fresh fruit, pastries, eggs and even pancakes that the children loved. The location was close to everything we wanted to see, but still peaceful and relaxing. Our rooms were spotless, spacious and very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and always ready to help. We loved our stay from start to finish and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d recommend this hotel to families, couples or anyone looking for a top-quality stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Everything is just a few minutes’ walk away from this amazing spot in the heart of sopron. Service was nice, and the rooms were clean and a good size. Parking is a bit tight to get into, so I wouldn’t recommend it for large cars, though it’s manageable.

The staff were wonderful. Dorina and Daniel at reception and lively Margit in the breakfast room were polite and attentive. Our room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. It’s a great little hotel in the Castle area, with really good value for a small price. We’ll come again. Anna & Mike Dun

Breakfast had a good selection and was tasty. We had a nice, clean family room in a quiet street in the historical centre, with comfortable beds and enough electrical plugs for all of us to charge our devices at once. Some towels have holes from all the washing and should be replaced.
