The best part of my one-night stay was breakfast. The café menu is creative, medium-sized and varied enough, and everything we ordered arrived promptly, made perfectly with quality ingredients. I wanted the whole-grain vegan croissant, but they’d run out. The waiter offered to bake one fresh for me, which was amazing service. I’d recommend the matcha, oatmeal and acai bowl. The building is beautiful, the location is good, and my room was clean. From the layout and feel of the rooms, I’d suggest it more for solo or business travellers and especially couples than for families. Breakfast costs extra as of September 2025, it isn’t included in the reservation. If you’re driving, parking is on the street and you’ll need to pay at the municipal meter. The café is pricier than some others in the city, though I do think you get what you pay for. I didn’t use the spa or see it in use, so I can’t comment on it, though I did walk into a sauna.

Our room was spacious, and both it and the bathroom were clean. The bathroom was especially well maintained. The hotel feels modern, with nicely decorated rooms and corridors, and the location is great. The staff were kind and helpful. Most spoke excellent English, and some knew other languages too. Breakfast was the main letdown. There weren’t many options for hotel guests, and for the price, the portions should be more generous. The breakfast shown in the photos isn’t what’s served as part of the stay. You only get that by paying extra from the side menu.

We went for breakfast with our two dogs, and no one offered them water. It took 40 minutes for our food to arrive, with no explanation of the delay or apology. Other tables were served ahead of us even though they arrived and ordered later. The staff were inattentive and the place lacked basic hospitality. The food was mediocre, with nothing surprising given the location and price. By the time it came, the coffee was ice cold.
