The view was amazing, and the food was OK, but the bill left a bad taste. We were told they didn’t accept card payments, and I understood the place might be overpriced for that reason. I figured that would be their tip. But when I compared the menu prices with what we were asked to pay, it came out quite expensive. The attitude was awfully arrogant. We speak Hungarian, but they saw our car had foreign plates, and I felt they took advantage of us. Be careful if you’re visiting from another country. In our experience, foreigners may be charged more than the menu shows.

Our beloved brother Arthur, whose favourite place for goulash soup this was, recommended it to us. He’s second from the right in the picture. We shared a wonderful bowl of your soup as a brotherhood during the legendary “Ouwe Rikus Tour 2021”… Sadly, Arthur passed away in December 2023. GBNF.

That was the best soup I’ve ever had. The host was wonderful, and the place felt warm and cozy ☺️

The waiter was polite when I tipped him. I had my meal there, and it left me thinking: “No tip, no politeness!”

The place was clean and had a great view. I only tried the bobguyllash, and it was tasty, with plenty of tender beef.
