A strange experience. I didn’t see olives listed among the toppings, but the proprietress said they had some. They turned out to be jarred stuffed olives with pimentos. The only other people there seemed to be having some kind of meeting. One man was especially loud, and they didn’t seem to be eating or drinking.

It has air conditioning. If you’re tired enough to fall asleep straight away, it’s worth it.

The breakfasts were a highlight, with homemade treats, fresh ingredients, and a cheerful “Good morning!” each day. The owner also helped us plan what to see nearby, and went out of his way to make sure our requests were taken care of. His warmth and humility were impressive every time. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a smile and made to feel at home. Makk Marci Guesthouse is clean, cozy, and thoughtful about the details that make guests comfortable. It’s right in the city center, yet peaceful and quiet. If you’re visiting Tokaj, I wholeheartedly recommend Tokaji Makk Marci Panzió for a genuinely warm stay. We’ve been so happy there every time, and can’t wait to return! ❤️ Five stars hardly cover it.

Room 5 was small but comfortable, with a good bed that creaked a little when I moved. It had a small fridge, TV, and air conditioning, and breakfast was generous. The hotel is right in the center, and the owner was very friendly and communicated well. Thanks for the hospitality!
