The restaurant felt like grandma was cooking, with local dishes, which I really liked. The rooms were clean and neat too. It’s a quiet, pleasant spot in a small village near Balaton, surrounded by countryside and a cute park. I’d recommend it, especially knowing what some other places around Lake Balaton are like.

The hillside views were gorgeous, and the garden was really pretty. I hadn’t planned to stay here, but got sick at the campsite and needed a hotel for the night. What a lucky find. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the price reasonable. I’d recommend it to anyone.

We loved it and want to come back. The office staff were kind and friendly, and breakfast was ok. Everything was very clean, and there was a huge garden full of wildflowers and cherries. A very pleasant experience.

There’s no restaurant, or at least it wasn’t open while I was there. Tótvázsony has two restaurants and two minimarkets, though, and the bus stop is only 50 meters away for trips to or from Balatonfüred. The hotel sits 400 meters from the center. My room was spacious and more like a studio, with a kitchenette, fridge and sitting area, plus a TV, WiFi and either a balcony or terrace. The garden was lovely and very large, with fruit trees, a frog pond, meadow, wooden statues, a walking path, and chairs to lie back and relax in. Breakfast was a decent buffet with yoghurt, egg and even little pancakes.

A cute, family friendly hotel, about 15 minutes from Balatonfured. The room was clean, the staff helpful, and breakfast delicious.
