After a bad delay, we had to arrive at 5am, but the self check-in made getting in easy. The place was warm when we got there, just what we needed on an early winter morning. It's only about 5 minutes by car from the Budapest Airport. We had a parking spot right outside the building and the instructions were clear. Definitely recommend.

Online check-in and check-out were smooth, with no waiting, which made this a good fit for arriving late. The place near Budapest Airport was clean, warm and comfortable, and the beds were cozy. I'd definitely recommend Altair Airport Apartments 👌

I booked through Booking months ahead, but the owner canceled my reservation unilaterally, claiming renovations were needed. The only dates I saw blocked were during the Champions League Final in Budapest, so it looked to me like the property was being relisted at a higher event price under a false pretext. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere. This host seems willing to disrupt a trip for quick profit.

They canceled my long-standing reservation, saying there were “maintenance issues,” right during the Champions League Final. It seemed clear they wanted to resell those dates for more money. Extremely unreliable. Avoid this place if you need to be sure you have somewhere to stay.

A big thank you to the hosts for sending us the plushie we accidentally left behind by parcel. That thoughtful effort meant a lot and says a lot about how they treat guests. They were also kind and flexible about our check-in and check-out needs, so the stay was stress-free. The apartment was just as described, clean, comfortable and in a great location. We had a wonderful time in Budapest and would happily come back.
