Hotel Historia Malomkert

We booked suite No. 224 at Hotel Historia Malomkert Veszprem for three nights because the hotel's website described a living room and separate bedroom, a minibar, telephone, air-condition and other features. The room we got didn't match that description in any meaningful way. It was a small attic room with tiny skylights and a non-working air conditioner. The space intended as a separate bedroom for our child was just a child's bed behind a partition about one meter high, which I wouldn't consider a separate room. During the day, even with the windows open, the room reached 27.5°C and was very uncomfortable. I repeatedly asked for the AC to be repaired and was told it would be fixed soon, but eventually staff said the system throughout the hotel wasn't working. The bathroom had no bathtub or hair conditioner, and reception couldn't provide the conditioner either. I asked for a 50% refund because the advertised second room and working air conditioning were missing. Reception said the air conditioning was present, just not working, and that two rooms could count as one if there was a partition wall. They offered at most a 10% discount, which I declined because it didn't reflect how serious the shortcomings were. We paid the full price for a suite that fell short of the advertised standards and our expectations. I'm submitting this formal complaint and hope action is taken so future guests don't face the same disappointment.
