The location worked especially well for us: close to what we wanted to reach, but far enough from town that our sleep wasn’t disturbed. My wife and I came from America and spent a week at Villa Jager, enjoying the area around Balaton lake. We had the second-floor two-bedroom apartment with one bathroom and a small kitchen, which suited our needs perfectly. The hosts were friendly and keen to help whenever we needed something. There’s also a nice pool and a ping-pong table. We’d highly recommend it.

The pool in the garden was a nice bonus, and there’s a supermarket around the corner with several good restaurants nearby. This family panzió is in a lovely spot, just a few minutes from balaton. If we come back to balaton next year, we’ll stay here again! :)

I found a room at Villa Jäger at incredibly short notice in the middle of the season, after my first accommodation had been a complete disaster. The welcome was friendly, the rooms were spotless, the furnishings were well maintained, and the location was excellent. Restaurants, supermarkets, the beach, and plenty of other amenities are all within easy walking distance. I was very pleased with my stay, will definitely return, and would gladly recommend it to anyone.

The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and there’s a shop right outside. The room was clean and well looked after, the pool was a plus, and the owner was very friendly. I’d definitely recommend this place if you want a peaceful break without the glamor of the Polish seaside.
