The meals had lots of variety and were really delicious, and the two pools were a decent size. Our bedroom for two was quiet and spacious. There weren't many children around during our stay. You could smell the food and pool throughout the hotel, though, which may be why some people only give it three stars. It's a great place to get some rest in the fall.

We had a spacious ground-floor room and check-in was quick and efficient. The half-board meals were excellent, with plenty of different dishes. Breakfast was good too, though the coffee could have been better and I'd have preferred real juice to whatever that drink was. This feels more like a spa than a typical hotel, with lots of small children around, but it gets very quiet before 22:00. From our room, we could smell the pool, or rather the chlorine, throughout the area. Despite the window nets, several small insects got inside, possibly for the same reason. Other than at reception, staff didn't speak English, and we had trouble communicating in the restaurant.

The food was good, and there was a heated indoor pool. Private parking was available. The bathrooms need renovating.
