Elizabeth and her husband Made welcome everyone graciously and treat guests like friends. For the past three years I've returned to Bali and made this quiet, scenic retreat part of my itinerary, usually staying four days or more. It's small, with only four rooms, and the cafe tucked among rice fields is hard to beat for a peaceful meal. The food is fantastic, especially the desserts, as the apple cobbler photo shows. Even if you're staying somewhere else, this is a place to visit. The rooms aren't fancy, but they're clean, the fans do enough when it's warm, the wifi is strong, and prices are very economical for budget-minded tourists. I've recommended Puri Sawah on Tripadvisor and can't believe I forgot to review it here on Google.

Such a quiet place with really good vibes, a great budget option in the Tirtagangga area if you want peace and quiet. Rooms are basic but clean and well priced, and the food is good too. There's a restaurant on site overlooking the rice fields, which is lovely. Recommended, and I'll surely come back.

The room price is hard to beat, and breakfast is included. Whatever time of day, the food was excellent. I especially liked the homemade yoghurt and apple crumble. The setting is peaceful and a little off the beaten track, with beautiful rice terraces and a stunning view of Mnt. Agung. We recently stayed at Puri Sawah Bungalows, but could only book one night because she was fully booked with other guests. That was a shame, since the place felt unique in so many ways. I'd recommend it to anyone.

We loved sitting out on the room balcony and enjoying the view. The rooms are nice and clean, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Some rooms only have cold-water showers, but in the hot weather that wasn't a problem for us. There's also a very nice restaurant.

The restaurant's easy to reach, near the road, and still quite quiet, with a very nice view. The food is excellent and very cheap. It's run by a western lady, so you can expect western standards for cleanliness and freshness. They mostly use balinese ingredients but serve lots of interesting dishes, not just the usual Nasi Goreng found all over Bali.
