Ubud Padi Villas

The floating breakfast was a lovely, peaceful experience, and we appreciated having vegetarian options included for us. We also enjoyed dinner at the villa restaurant. As Indians, we can be particular about Indian food abroad, but everything here tasted fresh, flavourful, and comforting. The traditional Balinese massage was incredibly calming, one of the most relaxing spa experiences we’ve had in Bali. The villa was clean, spacious, aesthetic, and beautifully designed, with a dreamy feel that was great for relaxing and creating content. We were greeted with refreshing drinks, fruit, and snacks, and the staff stayed genuinely warm, kind, and attentive. Ubud Padi Villas is surrounded by greenery and nature, making it a peaceful escape for a slow Bali stay. It felt like a reset from daily life, and we’re grateful for the hospitality and memories. Highly recommend it for a romantic, relaxing visit to Bali.

We planned to stay for four days, but liked it so much that we extended our visit. The private pool overlooking the rice terraces was stunning, and the grounds were beautiful and well kept. The staff were friendly and polite, and Dea deserves special thanks for being so positive. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. By every standard, this is a very good hotel. I’ll be back next year.

Ratna, Yanti, and Dea were so nice and did a great job hosting us. The staff were lovely, friendly, and always happy to help. There’s a long path to the villa, but they’ll take you to the main road by golf cart any time, day or night. The onsite restaurant has decent food and options, and there’s a spa too. The room had no bugs or lizards, which I was very happy about. It felt like an authentic Bali villa, with air conditioning, a TV with Netflix, and a nice outdoor bathroom. We had a comfortable king-size bed, and wished we’d spent more time enjoying the pool and bathtub. It was an amazing first place to stay in Bali, and I’d love to come back.

Mom and I enjoyed dinner as much as breakfast. Our favourites were the seafood fried rice, soto ayam, and tomato cream soup. So good, and the portions were generous. We’d love to come back one day. The people are what make the place: Kadek waited patiently for us at the airport, Dea gave us a warm welcome, and Vitri kindly showed us a shortcut through the rice fields to the restaurants and shops. Macho bravely caught the emplegan, a tree frog, near our washbasin, and Surya was so sweet and friendly, helping us get to the drop zone after checkout. Thanks as well to the hardworking, efficient housekeeping team and the rest of the Ubud Padi Villas family, always greeting us with smiles. Our villa faced the rice field, so waking up to birdsong and sunrise was wonderfully peaceful. If you want nature and a break from the busy city, I’d recommend Ubud Padi Villas.
