Cabé Bali

We only had one night here, and I really wish we’d stayed longer. The owner/manager upgraded us to a traditional Bali hut looking out over the rice field, which was a great experience. My wife was so happy 😀 Breakfast in the morning was nice too. There’s a little shortcut into town along the waterway (viaduct), just across the road, and it makes for a nice walk.

Dinner is a bit of a constraint here: the restaurant serves simple, well-cooked food and is good, but it was probably the most expensive one we tried in Bali. Otherwise, you’d need to take a taxi to Tirtaganga for another dinner option. The setting is beautiful, with Gunung Anung right behind and ricefields all around. The garden and pool are lovely, and the quiet atmosphere is nice. Our stone bungalow was a little old, though spacious and beautiful, and the room was clean. Small insects are normal in the countryside. Breakfast was very good, and the service was professional, helpful, and really good.

From the pool, we could look out across the endless rice fields, and we even got to take pictures right in the fields with Mount Agung in view. The setting is incredible, and I really enjoyed staying here. This hidden gem seems to be known by hardly any Europeans. The staff were kind and helpful, and the hotel also has Balinese culture tours and a cooking class. Both were amazing. I’ll keep coming back 🤎

It was so peaceful among the rice paddies, and the staff were really nice. The room was spotless and the bed was comfy. My friend and I had a great time here, definitely recommend!
