The owner was completely disrespectful. I'd booked and paid a deposit, but when the booking date came, he asked me for a large amount for insurance. When I asked why and discussed it with him, he told me not to stay. I said, "Oh, I'll withdraw the money and come back," but he replied, "No, you can't stay," and kicked me out.

The monthly price is good, but expect extra costs. You have to pay 300,000IDR to hire towels for drying off after a shower, and they've seen better days. Electricity isn't included either. You'll need to bring your own toilet roll. There are plenty of rats running around for company.

This place was terrible. I lost my ipad and passport while I was staying there. I don't know who took them, but they went missing after room service came to clean, and the room hadn't really been cleaned. It was still dirty. There was no response or accountability. I rented a motorcycle from them for a month, but two weeks later they asked me to return it and didn't refund the remaining money. They also kept my deposit. The service was poor, and the owner and staff weren't friendly. Pets aren't allowed either.

I had a fruit salad and mango smoothie at the restaurant at the front of Aquarius. The staff were polite and friendly, though the restaurant decor looks a little tired and could use a revamp. This place used to be really popular, but these days there weren't many customers.

I've been staying here for one year three months now, and I love the atmosphere and vibes in Legian, Kuta. It's easy to find halal food, and the room is clean. House Keeping is available in the morning through 5 pm, and security is there 24 hours, which feels secure when you have small kids. The monthly rate is good and the service is good too. Aquarius Star Hotel is only 15 minutes to the beach on foot 👍🎉💖
