Aria Villas Ubud

Aria Villas was such a lovely stay. The private villa was beautiful, with a really comfortable bed and pillows, and the people were wonderful. Breakfast was great, too. Markets, shops, and places to eat are close by. Ordering dinner for home delivery was easy, and Aria provided plates, cutlery, and napkins. We loved it.

The design of the villa is beautiful, especially the outdoor shower and bathtub set among the surrounding nature. You can hear Ubud’s tropical sounds, which adds to the peaceful feel. Tia was especially kind and attentive, and breakfast delivered to the villa each morning was a relaxing start to the day. The location is convenient, about a 15-minute walk from Ubud Central and easy to reach by car, though the roads are narrow and busy. Local drivers handle them skillfully. Some things felt disappointing at this price. The private pool can be seen from a hotel behind the property, so it doesn’t feel fully secluded. I never saw or heard a filtration system running during my stay, and the water sometimes looked still and a little cloudy. There’s no outdoor shower by the pool for rinsing off, either. The air-conditioning struggled to bring the room below 24-25°C, so nights were a bit warm. The limited pool circulation, weak cooling, and just one extra roll of toilet paper gave me the impression of resource conservation at the expense of comfort. The calm atmosphere, lovely design, and warm service were real positives, especially Tia’s hospitality, but these issues made the villa feel overpriced. With attention to them, it could be a five-star experience.

We stayed at Aria Villas for five days during our Bali trip and loved having our own pool. The room was spacious and quiet, and the setting felt romantic and private. The staff were always friendly and smiling. We especially liked having breakfast brought to our room without an extra room-service charge. We wanted a quiet, private stay, and that’s what we got. We’d happily visit again and recommend it. Thanks for everything!

A really relaxing stay at Aria Villas. Desi’s service was especially brilliant. We loved the tasty breakfasts brought to our outdoor area, the nice pool, and the comfortable bed. The outdoor bathroom was fun, too. Hope to come back.
