Bali Niksoma Boutique Beach Resort

The facilities were what we expected, and everyone working there was really friendly. We had a nice NYE stay with our 8-month-old, though the hotel is starting to feel a little old.

I paid Rp 2,528,787 expecting a high level of service, but what I got felt very cheap. This is absolutely not a 5-star hotel. Even a guest house lets you use the toilet when you need to. I only stayed one night. The room was old and poorly maintained, and the shower head was disgusting. It was huge and heavy, and sprayed water everywhere. In the morning the toilet was broken, so I couldn’t use it when I needed to. The flush handle had seemed loose the night before, but it still worked then. In the morning it came off in my hand. I asked for a refund and the manager refused. She asked why I hadn’t called them to fix it, but I’d worked a lot the day before, woke up late, and had to get ready right away. I didn’t have time to call. I should be able to use the toilet whenever I need to, and rooms should be in excellent condition before guests check in. She said everything had been fine the day before, and acted as if it was my fault. There was no apology and they took no responsibility. It felt like she was gaslighting me.

The food was great, and the staff were lovely and went out of their way to help. Mini was especially gorgeous, always greeting us with the biggest smile at breakfast. Harry made check-in great too. We had a great stay at Niksom.

Mini made our mornings at breakfast feel special. She was warm, remembered what we ordered, and her genuine hospitality made the stay more memorable. We also loved the setting at Bali Niksoma. It’s right on the beach and an easy walk to restaurants and shops, while still feeling peaceful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and looked after well, and the pool has beautiful ocean views. We’d absolutely recommend it and will be back.
