Avoid this place. We booked it by mistake after confusing its Google reviews with those for a similarly named location. Our room was badly set up. None of the doors closed properly, the lock felt very insecure, and the bedding was extremely poor. The shower drained badly, leaving the bathroom permanently flooded and slippery. During our three-night stay, we ran out of toilet paper, and they made no effort to restock it or clean the rooms. We couldn't find anyone, either. One room's shower water was scalding hot, so a technician had to come fix it. On the second night, the other room's shower went cold, and nobody was around to ask for help. We tried to get a partial refund and cancel, but they pointed us to booking.com, then promptly ignored requests made on the platform. If the price had been lower, all this might've been acceptable, but it was still by far the worst place we stayed, even compared with places half the price.

The owner was always available whenever I needed anything, and helped me in so many ways. I loved the pool and garden, and the balcony at the back of the villa had an amazing view over the jungle and rice fields. I also thought the price was great compared with what other places in this area are asking right now. I had an amazing stay at Budha House and would recommend it to anyone coming to this area.
