Conjioo Hotel Kuta

We spent a month in a premier room, which was bigger than rooms in 99% of five-star hotels. Reception is open 24/7, and the team there was the friendliest I’ve come across in Bali. The manager was A+, as were the woman and man on reception. Everyone from reception to the restaurant team was A+. Security were friendly and helped whenever needed. The pool was okay and the restaurant was good. I hope the hotel stays busy and the restaurant does well. Whenever I’m in Bali for a long stay, I’ll come back. We stayed five nights while travelling around Bali. The rooms are huge, with kingkoil bedding, good airflow and a balcony. Amenities were provided, and there’s a water heater, though hot water was limited. Wi-Fi is available, but its speed and coverage need improvement. There’s also a swimming pool and breakfast. They cleaned every day, quickly and neatly. The hotel is in the Dewi Sri area, with clubs nearby such as Hellens night market and others. There’s a local market too, and Krisna authentic bali market is close by. There’s plenty around, so you won’t get bored staying here.

The location was really good, with lots of food choices nearby, and the lift runs from the basement to the sixth floor, which made it easy to go out or order food. We asked for a high floor, a smoking room and a big bed, and got all three. The staff were very friendly. We’d definitely come back.

The location is the only real plus. It’s near Krisna, Agung Bali and restaurants. I won’t be coming back. I arrived around 10:30, before check-in, and only wanted to register and leave my suitcase with reception. They said that was fine and promised to move it to their office, then bring it to my room once it was ready. I went elsewhere to hang out, but when I got back at 4:10, my suitcase was still right in front of the reception desk. It hadn’t been moved to the office or my room. Then I asked for my key card and was told the room wasn’t ready. It was already 4:30. Check-in is at 2 pm, and the previous guests would have left by noon, so there should have been time to prepare it. There are no security cameras in the room hallway or elevator. The room was fairly spacious, but the bath towels were dirty. There were no slippers, safety box or refrigerator. Breakfast options were very limited. One restaurant staff member was friendly and helpful, though I didn’t get his name.
