The staff were lovely, and the pool and grounds were nice and well kept. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the massages and facials were very good. It’s beachfront, though the shore isn’t one you’d go to for a swim. Our first room was in the basement: dark, damp, dingy, full of Miskitos, with dead sockets and no Wi-Fi. Four guys came at 9:30 at night, but the problem wasn’t sorted. The next morning we asked to move and requested a smart TV. The new room was much the same, but there were no Miskitos, the Wi-Fi worked, and it was one floor up with a better garden view. At least it no longer felt like a dungeon. We were invited to dinner on two evenings when there was a live band, but both times we were the only diners. The entertainment felt very dated, and the meal was overpriced and poor value. With so many fabulous restaurants and wurungs nearby, it’s understandable people might eat elsewhere. A shame. I can see why the reviews are mixed. It’s very cheap to stay, but I wouldn’t rate it four stars. The staff are what make the place. There’s also a pool table, but it’s in bad shape, and it needs balls and cues, or should be removed.

The pool is beautiful and faces the beach, and I liked how the old design gave the place a cultural feel. I stayed three nights in February 2026, my first time in Bali. We booked it for the beachside location, but swimming at the beach isn’t possible. It’s also far from the centers and a little under an hour from the airport. The room was spacious with a strong AC, though the windows rattled noisily all night in the wind, and we could hear people in the adjoining rooms. It rained hard during our stay, leaving the hallways wet. That felt like a serious safety concern, especially for elderly guests. Breakfast was basic and much the same each day, but enough. Service was just okay, nothing special. We ordered dinner at the hotel once because flooding in the streets meant we couldn’t go out. I don’t advise it: the food was expensive and unsatisfactory in both flavor and preparation.

Wisnawa deserves special thanks for his warm manner and ability to sort out problems. The staff were polite, helpful, and professional throughout, and the service was great. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the hotel facilities were well maintained. I found the whole atmosphere relaxing, and the beachfront location put restaurants, cafés, shops, and other things close by. The main drawback is access: there’s no elevator or accessible path for people with disabilities, and the many stairs can be tiring with luggage or children. I hope management improves this. Still, I’d stay again for the comfort, location, and service. I stayed at Grand Balisani Suites Hotel on my trip to Bali and had an excellent experience.

The room service was nice, the breakfast had plenty of variety, and the staff were really friendly. You get a beach view from the pool, and it’s in a great location. For the price, the place feels luxurious. I was very impressed and would suggest staying here.

The staff were spot on, always friendly and ready to help. The pool was really nice, and the massage was good and cheap. But the stay wasn’t great overall, and I don’t understand the reviews I read before booking. I was at balisini from 24/12 to 31/12/25. The room was old and smelled, and the tap water was salty, so we had to buy mineral water at marts to wash our faces and brush our teeth. Breakfast was cold, apart from the coffee and tea, obviously. We ordered fried noodles with fried chicken and satay by the pool. The chicken was old and not fresh at all, like it had been reheated over and over. I showed it to a staff member and told her. I wouldn’t recommend the food. It didn’t feel worth the money.
