Karma Kandara Resort

The turquoise water was so soothing to look at, and I came back to India with all those memories still vivid. Staying in the private pool villa in Kandara was lovely and memorable. We enjoyed every moment, with each day bringing more joy and satisfaction. Karma's staff and buggy drivers were very friendly and helpful.

We loved our week at this villa. The private outdoor pool area was cleaned at least twice a day, and the rooms were serviced every day. The staff were among the friendliest we've met and made us feel welcome. There's also food service around the clock. Great spot for a relaxing, stress free holiday.

The buggy service around the resort was good, and the staff were friendly with great hospitality. The location is secluded, away from town's hot spots, which makes it a good staycation. Karma uses the property in its marketing programs, bringing people around to see the rooms and encourage membership sign ups. I booked a one bedroom pool villa a year ahead, since getting a booking less than six months out is really difficult. The pool and entrance to the room were good, but the doors and ensuite area felt old and poorly maintained. The windows didn't close properly, so early morning noise woke us up. Breakfast was the same each day, with a couple of fresh fruits, bread, spreads, tea, and coffee. The pineapple was rotten two days in a row, so I complained and shared the feedback with the restaurant manager. During our week there, the winch only worked on the final day for getting to the beach.

The beach is lovely, and the resort has extra facilities and functions worth visiting. It's a large property, with interesting paths winding over hilly ground. There are plenty of buggies available on call for pickups and drop offs.
