The room was very basic, but the location is good for the low price, with good restaurants and 24-hour convenience stores nearby. Walking to the airport the next day took an hour, which was another plus for me. Getting checked in was a mess, though. I booked online at the last minute and walked nearly 4 km from Kuta beach at night. I’d told them I expected to arrive between 11 p.m. and midnight, and got there around 11:30, tired and wanting to sleep. There was nobody at reception, and the security guard couldn’t find my booking. It took almost an hour to work out what to do. They finally put me in a bunk-bed room even though I’d reserved a single bedroom. Luckily, the AC didn’t work, so they moved me to the single bedroom. Reception could be more organized.

The place was so hot and unsanitary that even one star felt too generous. It was my worst experience.

The service was friendly, and I liked the refreshing iced lemon tea. The meal started well with a spring roll appetizer, but the sweet and sour pork disappointed me, and my boyfriend's ribs were pretty bland. The food is VERY cheap, though, so you get what you pay for.

We tried both the buffet and the regular menu at breakfast, and the food was delicious for a reasonable price. The Nasi Goreng was especially tasty. Right in the heart of Kuta, this place serves good-quality food at a fair price, so breakfast is worth the money.

The rooms were dirty, the pool was dirty, and even the towels provided were unclean. The atmosphere felt unhygienic. Breakfast was included in the booking, but in reality it wasn't. Worst hotel ever.
