Kokonut Suites

I stayed for a few weeks because the location was decent, the rooms were spacious, and it was usually quiet. The original design was good, but the place is slowly falling apart. Some rooms are already unacceptable, and in a few years the rest may be too, since they won't spend money on upkeep. The gym is listed as closed for maintenance, though I doubt it'll reopen. Every room I stayed in had something broken, such as the AC unit, blinds, or bathtub, and the toilet wasn't cleaned properly.

The kids loved the pool, and the place was small, private, and set back from the main road. We were a family of four with children aged 7 and 10, visiting Bali for the first time, and it worked perfectly for us. The staff were friendly, the rooms were great, and there were tasty restaurants within walking distance. Happy to recommend it to family and friends.

Livingstone is a good cafe right in front of the hotel, and there are cafes and restaurants close by in the Petitenget area. The villa room was okay, with a living room and kitchen set. Parking is spacious enough for cars. The pool was just so-so, nothing special about its view or anything else.

We spent 6 nights here in August 2019. The location, facilities, and service were all great, but two things made the stay not worth it for us. The first was breakfast. It worked well for adults, but there was no real choice for kids beyond cereal. Hotel management wouldn't listen when we asked for even a single egg instead, so families should be aware of that. The other issue was noise. On weekends, a bar or nightclub next door made it hard to get a restful night's sleep. We complained, but nothing came of it. Because of those two problems, we won't return.
