Kuta Angel Hotel Luxurious Living

The location is amazing, right in the heart of Kuta, with the beach only a few minutes' walk away. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly, with great service. They went out of their way to help, and we enjoyed every day of our stay. Wayan, the security guard, is an amazing and super caring person, a real jack of all trades. He made sure we got on and off taxis safely, managed traffic for us, and took down the ride details each time we left the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We booked a room at Kuta Angel Hotel through Trip.com and got a confirmation showing it was fully paid. We took a taxi there, but staff said they couldn't find our booking in their system. We showed them the payment proof and confirmation, but they still insisted there was no record. We waited around an hour while they checked. Then Trip.com messaged us to say the hotel had cancelled the booking. A staff member told us to contact another employee on WhatsApp, who claimed we'd cancelled it, which wasn't true. Trip.com confirmed the hotel had cancelled. We eventually got a refund, but the hotel's WhatsApp representative said that if we still wanted the room, we'd have to pay them directly, at more than our original price. We left and booked another hotel, losing time and money. It felt like a scam tactic to cancel third-party bookings so guests would pay a higher direct rate. Be careful booking here. I wouldn't recommend it.

The location is good, but the rooms were ordinary and the breakfast was overcooked both mornings. I had to stay two nights out of necessity and wouldn't choose to stay longer. They wouldn't let me check out until they'd inspected the room, which delayed my appointment. Just a cheap Kura stay, nothing special.

Everything else was great, but working remotely here would be a 0/10. The Wi-Fi was weak and kept disconnecting. Without mobile data, I wouldn't have been able to work at all.
