Lili House Ubud

The room was spacious, and I loved soaking in the warm hot tub bath. It was quiet and serene, with green scenery, and the receptionist was accommodating and smiley. The sheets had stains, and there were no toiletries. Laundry was available at 18k per kilo, I think, though I forgot the exact amount, plus a service charge or tax. Wifi wasn’t great and cut out sometimes. The price was very reasonable, a good deal.

My room was quiet and even had a bit of a view. It was spacious and modern, with the air conditioning placed really well. The staff were very friendly, and if anything was missing, I just had to ask.

The setting is lovely and peaceful. After a short 100-meter walk from the parking lot, you arrive at a beautiful, calm spot. We booked a room by the pool with its own kitchen, and we really liked it. The room booking was the problem. We reserved six months ahead for the end of the year, but when we arrived at the agreed check-in time, someone else was still using our room. Management asked us either to wait until the next day or move to a different room at a different price. We argued and had to insist before they agreed to give us the room we had booked. The room setup is poorly managed, which is a shame given how nice the room and location are. Sorry, and thank you.

After a hot day of hiking and other activities, the refreshing pool was just what we needed. Breakfast pancakes were great too, and the nighttime view gave the place a cozy, relaxing Balinese feel. Compared with other cottages I’ve stayed in, it was a great experience.
