Padma Resort Ubud

We were so happy at Padma Resort Ubud that we spent the whole flight home to Korea planning our next trip. We stayed in Room 310 from Feb 25th to 28th. We're Woon Lee & Chae, and want to thank Sapitry, Sewarda, Ruth, and the whole Club Lounge team. We couldn't remember everyone's name, but every staff member we met was kind and professional. Your warm hospitality, the seamless stay and the late check-out all helped make our 10th-anniversary season of Bali trips unforgettable. We already miss the atmosphere you created and hope to see you soon. Having been to Bali nearly every year for the past decade, apart from during the pandemic, this was our first real stay in the heart of the Ubud jungle. Padma helped us understand its appeal. The views and lush, nature-friendly setting felt like being on the set of Avatar, especially in the rain, when everything looked dreamlike and almost haunting. We stayed at the resort for all three days, exploring the gardens, vegetable garden, animal park and walking trails. The Club Lounge's cocktail hour and drinks were fantastic. We also loved the breakfast, à la carte food there and lunch at the restaurant. One favorite memory was the "Solo Bike Tour" with my husband, where we saw the famous Ubud rice paddies. We enjoyed the heated pool, jacuzzi and fitness center sauna as well. I couldn't join the yoga class because of my health, but it's top of my list next time. Our room was spotless and comfortable despite being surrounded by nature. Waking to the surreal jungle view from our balcony is a memory I'll always treasure.

We spent two nights here in early February on a family trip, and everyone was very happy. I booked around three months ahead, and the Padma Resort app had the best rate. Membership also came with one free laundry service and a spa discount, which was a nice perk. It's about a 30-40 minute drive from central Ubud, but the setting among nature makes up for the distance. There are activities at the resort and several well-known attractions nearby, so a good itinerary can make the trip both relaxing and efficient. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the staff were excellent. I'd suggest a room on the top, fourth floor for the best views. I highly recommend it for families with children.

The kids loved the pool and animal garden, and fishing was a highlight. We especially liked Caramel and Latte the goats! The hotel itself is stunning, surrounded by nature, and the walk down to the river and bamboo bridge is breathtaking. Staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, and the buffet breakfast had lots of tasty options. It's a bit far from Ubud, but there's a free shuttle. We took it a couple of times. Ubud has a totally different feel, busy and chaotic, but it was nice for a change. If you want a peaceful place with a fun holiday for kids, Padma is a great choice. We had a lovely stay and hope to return.

The pool was just right in temperature, easily the most comfortable one I've experienced. Breakfast was excellent too, with plenty of high-quality choices. From the moment we arrived, the panoramic views and thoughtful landscaping made the property feel peaceful and luxurious. Service was warm, attentive and caring, so we felt welcome throughout. This hotel was beyond what I imagined, and an unforgettable stay that sets a new standard for me.
