The food was delicious from start to finish. We ordered croquettes, three strip loin steaks, and half a chicken, then finished with pistachio tart. Everyone enjoyed each course, and the drinks were great too. There was a large range, including some cocktails that sounded lovely, and I wish I could have tried them all. The amaretto sour and found the pink were so yummy. We were greeted very politely at Uma Garden, and once seated we were struck by how beautiful the place was. The service was amazing, and Asep, who looked after us, was attentive, warm, and friendly. Thanks to Asep and everyone for making it special.

That pasta was honestly the best I’ve ever had. The ribs were tender enough to fall off the bone, the chips were great, and the smoky broccoli ended up being one of my favorite parts. My boyfriend joked that whoever made the pasta should earn more than $10,000 a month lol haha. Amazing food and a wonderful meal.

We especially loved the burrata, easily one of the meal’s standout dishes. There were lots of excellent mocktails to choose from, and the service was attentive and proactive. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Lovely fairy lights made it relaxed and laid-back, rather than giving it a lively party feel, which suited us.

The service was exemplary, and the bathrooms were spotless. Knowing we were heading to our next destination, they even brought us a fudge brownie with whipped cream as a complimentary “safe travels” treat. The steakhouse is very professionally run. I’ve enjoyed fine steaks around the world, and the menu has a great range of prime, premium, and aged cuts, including some with more marbling. Our group of four chose different cuts and each was cooked to our specifications. The waiter let us examine the cuts and ask the chef questions. The scallop appetizers were amazing, as were the salad, potatoes au gratin, mash, and French fries, though the sides felt a bit small for the price. The atmosphere had a nice vibe where conversation was easy, and the decor was simple but classy. One downside was that a view from the dining area looked onto a lot full of debris and garbage. A privacy wall would have been a nice touch and wouldn’t cost much. A five-star experience with a little room for improvement. A must-stop for anyone looking for a more refined dining experience in Bali.
