Tejaprana Resort & Spa

We saw monkeys moving through the trees across the valley each evening, which was lovely. The hotel was full, but the shared areas never felt crowded, and the restaurant and staff were both great. I really loved being there, especially if you’re comfortable staying close to nature. The guests next door played music very loudly and made us uncomfortable, but guest relations sorted it out.

Getting activities and services arranged was easy because everyone was so helpful. From the airport driver to the front desk, restaurant, spa, yoga instructor, and my bike and temple tour guides, I was treated with kindness and professionalism throughout my solo visit. The food and spa amenities were great too. The villa and grounds were beautiful, spotless, and looked out over the jungle. I felt calm as soon as I arrived. This was just what I wanted from my Ubud trip, and I won’t forget the stay. I hope I can return soon.

Just beyond downtown, so you’re out of the busiest part of Ubud, with scooter and car parking and a security guard on site. The team are always smiling, helpful, and happy to share tips for things to do locally. Tejaprana Resort & Spa has lovely gardens and a beautiful pool, and the rooms and rest of the hotel are very clean and well kept. Breakfast and the other food were really good too. I’d happily recommend staying here for a few days in Ubud.

We loved the floating breakfast, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We had bed bugs, though, and changing the sheets didn’t get rid of the problem. We’d booked a romantic dinner but couldn’t sit outside at night because there was an enormous gecko there. That’s part of being in Ubud, not the resort’s fault, but daytime might be better. Still, it was a lovely honeymoon experience.
