Comfort Hotel Sagita Balikpapan [Duplicated 230350]

We visited as a couple in April 2025, and I’d say don’t stay here. The management seems absent or unable to address problems, and the hotel needs serious upkeep. The staff appeared to be trying their best, but it wasn’t enough. The bathrooms smelled bad, and the towels wouldn’t absorb water. We reported it and someone tried to fix the issue, but the result was disappointing. Other reviews had already mentioned these problems, which we unfortunately read too late.

The air conditioning was broken when I arrived for my two-night booking. I called reception, and a technician said it was “processing” and that he would adjust the temperature using the remote. The facilities looked quite old, and part of one AC vent was missing. I spent the first night cold because I couldn’t change the temperature. I checked out the next day and booked somewhere else.

There’s a nice, calming seating area by the pool, and the room and toilet were clean. We did have a small issue with the bedside lamp, but it wasn’t a big deal. The staff we met were really friendly and nice. It was a good hotel for us, though there’s always room to improve. Thank you. 🌻

I booked a junior suite with my family for a vacation, and the hotel’s facilities looked old. The toilet drain didn’t work properly, and the telephone, hair dryer, and safe deposit box were broken. The pool was closed for a wedding party, even though I chose this hotel for my kid to swim. The party noise carried into our room and was very disturbing. Checkout confirmation took over 15 minutes, and it might have taken longer if I hadn’t shouted to get the receptionist’s attention.
