The location is a big plus: you can walk or take public transport to many of Balikpapan's main destinations. For budget travellers it may suit you, and if you're heading to Samarinda, there's a reliable travel bus at the front left corner of the building. The hotel itself is old. They've given it a facelift, but it still looks old-fashioned.
