I've stayed here before, and the place has had a lot of upgrades since then. The rooms and hallways have been renovated, the staff are more professional, and there are more services for guests now. It's a great stay for the price, and I'll keep coming back whenever I travel to Balikpapan.

The staff were hands down the best part of our stay, and they were incredibly accommodating. When the lock battery died on our first night and we couldn't get into the room, they put us in a suite for one night. The room itself needed attention. There was a lot of dust in the bathroom, the shower head and bathroom need cleaning and repairs, and the toilet seat didn't fit the model. Water pressure was very weak, and we got warm water only if we were lucky, never hot. There were hardly any power sockets either. Wi-Fi was unstable and kept needing to be reconnected. The password changed every day, so for a longer stay you'd have to ask for the cafe's password. Big credit to the staff for their outstanding service.

The bathroom was really dirty, and breakfast was a letdown too. They said it'd be ready at 6 A.M., but we waited until 7, and there were only two food options. DON'T COME HERE.

Hair all over the place and dirty linen. The room was bad, wouldn't recommend it.

Quiet, pleasant place, and it was clean. Just seemed a little dated.
