As someone who owns a small local hotel, I was very disappointed with our stay. The price felt far too high for what we got. When we checked in last night, about half the rooms had no hot water; by morning, none of them did. An extra mattress costs Rp150.000. Our room and bathroom were dirty, with wall marks, black mold around the taps, blocked drains, no toilet paper, and weak WiFi. There was no free tea or coffee in the morning, and a sachet of coffee costs Rp10.000. I do want to thank the night shift receptionist for trying to make the stay as good as possible.
