The rooftop has a nice view, and I loved the calm, fresh, relaxing atmosphere here. The service was good too.

I've stayed here a few times and always found it comfortable. They could do a better job keeping the balcony clean.

We booked two rooms, and one had to be changed because it smelled strongly of oil. The property is nicely designed, with a pleasant cafeteria area, and it was quiet. The balcony was lovely early in the morning for sitting and listening to birds. There might be a good city view from the rooftop, but the pollution was too heavy to see anything. Staff were helpful, and the hot shower had good pressure and unlimited hot water, though its temperature kept changing. The downsides were pretty major. Wi-Fi was terrible, and XL internet was already poor in the area, then got worse inside. Both rooms had dirty linens and floors, stained sheets, and pillows that smelled of dried sweat, even after the pillows were changed. There was no regular room cleaning. They provided a kettle but no complimentary coffee pouches. The mattresses were too fluffy and uneven, so I couldn't sleep well, and they had put two single mattresses on a double bed. Honestly, I'm surprised the hotel is rated so highly. Maybe it used to be good once.

The dining room has a lovely view, and the food is nice and affordable. If you prefer milder flavors, ask the staff to adjust the food. They were friendly and welcoming from the first night, suggested places nearby, and even contacted someone so we could rent a bike. When we had trouble with transportation to Bandung, they explained which app to use, where to go, and gave us lots of helpful information. One staff member wrote down bus names for us. You can get there easily with GoJack, an app like Grab in Indo. The rooms are spacious and generally clean enough, and the price is very affordable, around $15 per night. Even so, my overall experience was closer to 3.5 stars. I gave four because I really appreciated the staff's hospitality. The rooms need serious maintenance, especially the shower rooms, which smelled odd and had unstable hot water. There were lots of ants in the room, and the pillows were so hard they hurt my neck. Wi-Fi wasn't good in the rooms, so we had to go to the lobby to use it. Personally, if I owned the place, I'd do proper maintenance and charge more.
