Bumi Bandhawa Hotel

The one downside for me was that there was no breakfast, since the restaurant hasn’t been operating since the pandemic. It wasn’t a big deal, though. I liked the cozy, old-fashioned feel of the main lobby, and my room faced the swimming pool. The TV had around 50 channels, most of them foreign. It’s a really nice hotel for getting away from the hectic city crowd.

The staff were polite and friendly, but they didn’t seem skilled at handling guest complaints or problems with the facilities and amenities. Getting hot water was a real struggle, and the restaurant had very few dishes, none of which tasted good. The hotel and grounds look beautifully designed, just like the photos, but the room, balcony, and shared areas were dirty and poorly maintained. That made it hard to enjoy the design.

I loved my stay here! If you want a quiet healing stay, this hotel is a perfect choice. There’s a spacious balcony room, with pine trees all around the hotel. And if you’re a cat lover, there are three cute cats here: two lovable orange cats, and the last one is the post security princess. Hehehe.

After being in busy Bandung, this is a lovely place to slow down. The cool breeze and nature-like surroundings make it easy to relax and find some peace. I loved my stay and can’t wait to come back.
