Gandasari Hotel

The food was decent, though there wasn't much choice, and the taste was okay. They also asked for a Rp. 50k deposit for the key. Getting there is a little tricky. It's in the heart of bandung, but on a one-way road, so you can only approach from one direction. The hotel didn't seem well maintained. Our bedsheet was a bit damp when we arrived, and the pillowcases smelled a little too. I asked to change rooms, but none were available, so they replaced the sheet and pillowcases instead. The hot water barely got warm, and there were water leak marks on the wall. I can't speak for the other rooms, but the worn-out room I got wasn't one I'd recommend.

I was there for two nights. The receptionist was very friendly, and the Wi-Fi worked great. The room was neat and clean, with standard amenities, and breakfast was good. Prices were affordable, though parking was really limited. At first, they forgot to leave towels in my room. Then the water went cold and needed fixing. They handled my requests quickly and efficiently, which I appreciated. That's why I gave them four stars.

The interior was nice and there was lots of space for our belongings, though the room itself wasn't very spacious. The bathroom smelled a little, so we had to keep its door shut to stop the smell reaching the room. For the price, it was good enough, especially for a hotel in the middle of the city. There wasn't much to explore outside the room, and the grass wasn't well maintained. A restaurant across the street had live music, and seemed to draw more guests than the hotel. Worth the price.

I spent three nights at Gandasari Hotel in Bandung. It was clean, cozy, and really nice, and the toilet was clean with warm water. The exhaust wasn't working while I was there, so the bathroom got very steamy. Still, I'd recommend it if you're staying in the Bandung city area.
