We checked in around 7:30 pm last month, and the room was dirty and poorly maintained. There was dust on the furniture, stains on the carpet and a dirty bathroom. The air conditioning didn’t work. After a long day, awake since 2:00 am with the children, this was the last thing we needed. We were so uncomfortable that we immediately booked another hotel for the children’s sake. After seeing so many bad reviews posted before ours with no action apparently taken, what happened to us wasn’t surprising. The hotel clearly doesn’t care about cleanliness or guest comfort. Not recommended at all.

We were first given an old room with a really dirty toilet. We stayed there for one night, then asked to switch rooms the next day. The newly renovated room was much cleaner and in better shape.

My holiday was ruined by the cleanliness. The service, staff and location were okay, but the room was so dirty that I don’t even want to remember it. The toilet was disgusting. I had no choice but to stay for two nights in early February 2026. Hotel management, please scrub the toilet, replace the room carpet and check the ventilation. 🥲🤢

The room I had was spacious, and the location is very strategic, right next to Famous Braga Street. Parking might be a problem if you bring your own vehicle because space is limited, so check first. I have mixed feelings about the place, and wouldn’t call it new. There were a lot of stains on the sofa and bench, maybe from sweat or water, and that felt pretty gross. When I went to use the bathtub, the water was completely yellow. Those things took away from what could have been good value. It’s time to clean the sofa and get rid of the stains.

The parking lot is small, though valet parking is available. The Wi-Fi and cellular signal are lousy, and the water was cloudy. Get there before 7:00 if you can, or the traffic will be terrible.
