Guntur Hotel

We slept well because the room wasn't too noisy at night. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had adequate facilities for a low price. The TV, air conditioner, water heater, and other electronic devices all worked fine. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and informative. The rates on travel apps felt fair for the service and comfort. Breakfast didn't have many choices, but I thought it tasted pretty good. The pool was quite dirty on Sunday morning, perhaps because many families with children were staying there and using it.

The location is great, and the hotel and rooms are nice, though the exterior and appliances could use some updates. Our room was clean, but service and amenities were disappointing. They didn't refill the tissue or soap during room makeup. At check-in, we got just one pair of slippers while the other rooms got two, and the soap dispenser in another room was empty. There was also some kind of bathroom leak, and the electricity cut out and came back several times. The pools looked nice and seemed great for kids.

The room was really big, and the location is excellent, right in the center and next to the railway station. You can hear train horns and kids at the pool in the morning. Breakfast was the letdown: when we went down at 9:20, all the food we wanted was gone, leaving only cereal, toast, and very plain fried rice. I usually avoid hotel breakfasts, but if it's advertised as free, there should actually be food available.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the mattresses are comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the price was good. The shallow pool is suitable for children, and there's also a bar and coffee shop. It was a very comfortable place for a long stay.
