The staff were really nice, the area was quiet, and the indoor garden was great. But the room was among the dirtiest I've ever slept in. The toilet hadn't been cleaned, with hair, paper, and water all over the floor. The sheets were stained and hadn't been put on properly. This place has a lot of potential.

This place needs the owner to come by and pay attention. Dirty and clean linens are all piled around the corridor, and an employee was sleeping on the floor there. The bed linen was dirty too, there wasn't any tissue, and the place smelled strongly of smoke. Families staying long term had children crying and acting cranky. Is this supposed to be a hotel or a hostel? It felt more like a laundry storage area.

The building is really old, which I actually liked, and the atmosphere was quiet. The AC worked fine too. It isn't as luxurious as a star hotel, and has a bit of an exotic feel, but it's a good spot for a weekend or short holiday. Would've been sensational if it were haunted, LOL, but don't worry, it isn't.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the price makes this old-style guest house very good value. Hot water does work, but you have to run it for about 10 minutes.

In this old Dutch-style big house, the room is dated and the towel was dirty. Maintenance is poor, and there are mosquitoes to deal with. It needs a lot of improvement.
