Panen Hotel Bandung

Panen is a simple, well-placed option in the city center, with clean rooms, great service, and a good breakfast. It's the best in its class. The rooms are simple, so don't compare it with the bigger hotels around town.

Dear hotel management, a room can't be both a smoking and a non-smoking room for two different types of guests. My first room smelled awful from cigarette smoke, but fortunately your team was helpful and moved me to another one.

The room felt like a dorm, with very little space, the bed against the wall, and the TV off to the side. Watching it gave me neck pain. That's what you might expect from a low-cost hotel, I guess. The bigger concern was the window facing the alley, where passersby could see inside. The location on Riau street is great, very close to Cihapit Market. Service was quick, welcoming, and good.

For a longer stay, I'd pick a room other than the standard one. Mine was clean but quite small, with little room for luggage. For one or two nights, it works fine. The location is strategic, near Bandung station and the city center, and the service was excellent.
