The room worked fine for a night's sleep, and at 153,000 Rupiah through the RedDoorz app, it felt like a decent option for the price. I stayed March 25-26, 2026, and checked in around 7 PM. I had room 206 on the second floor, with a prayer room nearby. The location was pretty good, and there was parking, though the bathroom looked old. It was fairly clean, with some ordinary grime in the corners. The TV, AC, and Wi-Fi all worked, but several buttons were missing from the remote, so I couldn't tell which controlled the volume or power. No towels or toiletries were provided, just one bottle of mineral water, so bring your own toiletries. There wasn't hot water for a shower at night, though there was some in the morning. A security guard watched the cars and asked for coffee. I gave it to him to make getting in and out easier. It's not a great stay, but for the price, it's a reasonable place to rest.
Dear D'San Residence Admin, please pay more attention to the no-smoking rule in the lobby and reception area. When I checked in and out, the lobby was full of cigarette smoke. That was very upsetting for guests with small children, and I suspect other adults would find the smoky atmosphere uncomfortable too.
The room was comfortable for resting, and it had free Wi-Fi plus a table and chair, which made doing college assignments and work much easier for me. The guards were friendly, and there were parking attendants and security as well. One thing to fix in room 106: yesterday both the sink faucet and the shutoff faucet were broken. Still, it's a really good place to stay in Bandung.
I stayed during the Ramadan holiday, and the facilities were a strong point for the affordable price. The bathroom was clean with a water heater, and the towels, sheets, and blankets were fairly clean too. There was a TV with a built-in stand-alone TV, a helmet rack, a separate prayer room, and a balcony on the top floor. The hotel has many rooms across three floors, and the staff were fairly friendly. It's close to the main BKR highway, a gas station, a mini market, and popular eateries like Wing O Wingz and Mixue. The road leading to it isn't smooth despite the nearby location, and the mall is a bit far. Motorcycle parking is limited, while cars have to be left in an alley, so it seems better for guests without private vehicles. Some reviews mention parking extortion nearby. I checked out without paying for parking, but be careful. There's a guard, though not around 24 hours. I booked through Agoda, whose listing said the room was 20 square meters with a queen-size bed. It was smaller and more cramped than I expected, so I don't think it's suitable for families or even one child. The receptionist also requires a 50,000 IDR deposit, so don't arrive with only exact cash. Management should improve, since the hotel already has good facilities.
I couldn't get any rest because karaoke noise went on until dawn. Wouldn't really recommend it.
