Serela Cihampelas Hotel

The room was clean, but the bathroom sink leaked. We reported it at the front desk and it still wasn’t fixed. Breakfast was also too salty, especially the fried noodles and fried rice. They should use less salt.

We stayed from 12/5 to 15/5. The room was okay, but we only got two pillows, and they were so soft they barely felt like pillows. The water pressure was a bit low, though still manageable. The bathroom is quite old. Would I recommend it? Probably not.

The staff were quite nice, and the location is what kept this from being a truly bad stay. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. But we booked two rooms for two nights and ended up cancelling the second night because one room had cockroaches. The staff gave us bug spray, which didn’t help and just made the room smell. They offered another room, but we found roaches there too. In the room without roaches, there were stains on the carpet, a cracked bathroom mirror, and a sink that looked like it was about to come off the wall, with a gap behind it. Management really needs to pay attention to cleanliness. There have been bad cleanliness reviews for months, yet nothing seems to change. Shame. If you’ll be out all day and only need somewhere affordable to sleep, and don’t mind the possibility of roaches or hope you get a clean room, you might still book here. If you want a comfortable stay, look elsewhere.

The room was so comfortable, and the lobby was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful too. I love everything about Serela Cihampelas Hotel. Thanks so much, Serela Cihampelas Hotel. I hope I can come back someday.
