I'm writing this while shaking, honestly. I really regret ignoring the Google reviews, especially with the rating sitting at just 1.8. Here's what I ran into. The place felt unsettling before I even got inside. I had to go down a narrow passage to what seemed like a basement, and it was silent, dim, and lifeless. There was an abandoned-looking area with a pile of white sheets. Inside, the reception was just as bleak: dusty desk, a monitor and CPU that wouldn't turn on, dim lighting, and a floor that looked unswept. The dorm didn't feel any better. My bed had long hairs scattered across it, and when I lifted the blanket I found a mold stain. I was disgusted and didn't use the blanket. The AC didn't run or cool the room either. The locker was wedged in a corner, so opening it meant pressing myself against the wall. I felt too uncomfortable and didn't use it. There was purple Lux soap on the bathroom floor, which by itself was fine, but the shower water spread across the floor like the drain was clogged. The stagnant water grossed me out enough that I stepped onto the toilet floor. They also didn't provide towels, wifi, or thin sandals, basics I've had at every capsule hotel I've visited. I was really disappointed. The form and quality don't match. This was the worst hostel experience I've had, and it put me off OYO. It felt like all the hotels and hostels had been ruined.

Getting into this hostel feels like a courage test. You have to go through a hallway, and the place has such a haunted atmosphere. The sleeping area was dirty, with white marks, and looked completely neglected. If there's no real intention to run it properly, please just don't open it. It makes people want to give up on traveling to Bandung 😪😭.

I needed somewhere to sleep for the night, but I'm sorry I came here and don't want to book an Oyo again. The location was hard to find, and when I got there the entrance was shut behind corrugated metal, like the place had closed. I messaged the admin and got nothing back. My calls were rejected, and they ignored my chat too. I asked for a refund and still haven't had a response. The area felt really haunted. If you're going to run a place, have the nerve to open it without putting people through this. I'm done.

The location pin was wrong, so I had to walk a long way, and the room availability didn't match what the app showed. When I asked management to take responsibility, they said they'd handed things over to Oyo. The call center couldn't give useful information, and calls from customers were being hung up arbitrarily while I was talking to them. Management seemed completely clueless. The service was awful.

The price seems fair for what's provided, and the Cihampelas location puts you close to everything. But the map pin often sends customers the wrong way, and the contact details in the Oyo app are outdated. The location needs to be corrected.
