Seres Springs Resort And Spa

I booked a private villa with its own bathtub and pool, and the resort was beautiful, with very clean rooms and accommodating service. It’s tucked away in Ubud and was especially quiet when I visited in February. There weren’t many people around, so this is a peaceful escape to enjoy nature, not a place for partying or crowds.

The staff were friendly and helpful even though the hotel was quiet while we were there, and I’d stay again. Our private pool deluxe room actually shared its pool with five other rooms, but it still felt private. The room was spotless, with green views over the pool and hills and no buildings in the way. Lots of attractions were under an hour away, including a water temple, coffee tour, swings, rafting, and ATV rides. Rafting was great, though the ATV was a bit slow. The food was excellent. The à la carte menu covered British, Asian, and Italian dishes, and the chefs were highly trained. The steak was great and cost around £20. I also had a regular cheeseburger with a black bun. Breakfast had a wide selection: beans, chicken or beef bacon (the bacon wasn’t for me), noodles, rice, pancakes, French toast, health shots, and fresh fruit juices.

The staff made us feel welcome and looked after from start to finish. Our villa had a private pool and stunning views over rice fields and jungle, with a peaceful, special feel to it. The restaurant was also a highlight, with delicious meals prepared by a talented, professional chef. A lovely mix of luxury, nature, and warm hospitality. We can’t recommend SereS Springs Resort & Spa enough. 🌿✨

The staff were wonderful and helpful throughout my nearly week-long stay, and the property itself is quiet and beautiful. Getting around takes a taxi since there’s no shuttle. Breakfast was decent, though it could be better. I stayed in their most luxurious villa, but reaching it meant climbing several flights of stairs, which felt tiring after a long day.
