I can't comment on the hotel's condition, but the street turns into a food heaven at night, with noodles, wedang ronde, tahu baso, roasted pork, nasi rames, and more.

It's comfortable enough and close enough to Pasar Baru to make it handy for shopping. I did miss having a spa massage or a karaoke room.

The rooms are dated and under renovation, but the hotel is inexpensive and clean, with a fabulous breakfast. It's near pasar baru and easy to reach by local public transport. The price feels fair for what you get.
