The room itself was nice, and the breakfast was very good, but it wasn't clean and had other people's hair everywhere. The toilet could have been cleaner too. That alone wouldn't have been enough for me to write a review. The low price was fair for backpackers like us, and we weren't expecting anything special. What bothered me most was feeling misled by the people there. We were charged 50k for a ride to the ferry. Because of a misunderstanding, we had thought the ride was free like it seemed to be at other hostels nearby, though I think language problems may have been involved. They also advised us to take a big bus before the ferry because it supposedly went straight through. We were told we couldn't board that bus after the ferry, but other people did, and paid less than we had. Then they said we could catch a bus to Ubud at Mengwi Bus Terminal. That wasn't right either. We had to take another bus to the destination of our first bus, then a third bus to Ubud. The stay wasn't all bad, but I really don't like being lied to. I'd choose somewhere else nearby, where there are similar places with more honest people.
