The restaurant was the one part that didn’t quite match the resort’s overall quality, though the rest of the stay was excellent. Everything was smooth and stress-free when arranging the Mount Ijen hike or a visit to Baluran National Park. The staff were kind, professional, and welcoming, and the accommodation was comfortable and very restful. The setting is incredible, surrounded by rice fields, lush plants, and lovely water features that make it feel peaceful. A better fit for the restaurant would make the experience perfect.

I really enjoyed the hotel’s atmosphere and all the nature around it. The room itself needs work, especially the floor, and some renovations would make things more comfortable for guests. Still, the place has a great vibe.

The mountain views were so cool, including Ijen and another mountain whose name I don’t know. The room was big, and while the food was just so-so, it was alright. Such an amazing hidden gem. I loved the view and had an amazing experience!

We booked in the middle of the night, and the staff got the room ready for what we needed. They let us check out late without charging extra, and we even had a beer after checking out. The room was fine and the views were great. It is a bit isolated, which does bring those views, but hearing the mosque in the middle of the night was annoying.

Breakfast had a nice range of choices and was quite good, though it wasn’t served buffet style. There’s a pool as well. The resort is about 30 minutes from the city and an hour from the Kawah Ijen basecamp, with good views of the Ijen area. For the price, the rooms are good quality, spacious, clean, and have comfortable beds. The bathrooms could be cleaner. We had a great stay here.
