The rooms are functional, nice, and very good value. The garden is beautiful, and the location right in the town centre is perfect, with shops and restaurants close by. The owners are so lovely and make you feel at home. They’re also happy to help organise your stay in the area. Thanks for having me. I hope I can come see you again one day 🫶🏼 I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were okay, though a few had bathrooms that felt a little cramped.

The host was the warmest, friendliest person I met on my trip. He treated us to homemade meals, and coffee and toast before our Ijen tour, which cost 250k with transport and guide arranged by him. The rooms were clean and basic. It’s a 30-minute drive from the ferry to Bali and 10 minutes from the train station. I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it!

A clean, comfortable private room opened onto a nice courtyard, and the free breakfast was delicious. The owner and his family are warm and welcoming, and made us feel at home. It’s in what seems like the best part of town, with restaurants and a department store or supermarket nearby. You can also book tours or rent a motorbike if you want.

The owners are incredibly friendly, and the yard has big trees, chairs, and benches that make it a relaxing place to hang out. We paid 150k for a spotless double room with a fan, and breakfast was included. The vegetarian/vegan breakfast was rice with stir-fried vegetables, dragon fruit, and tea one day, then rice with tempeh, green beans, dragon fruit, and tea the next. Non-vegetarian guests got noodle soup with chicken, which looked good too. Indonesian food is also available to order any time of day for 15k per person. We’d definitely stay again!
