The price is cheap, and both the service and facilities are really good. Everything was great, though I’d suggest adding mirrors and a doormat.

I booked this homestay on a whim through Agoda for under 200,000 Rupiah. The owner was friendly and helped me arrange a motorbike rental. The room was comfortable to sleep in, though not very big. I wasn’t sure what to make of the gap in the bathroom, and it made showering a little uncomfortable. It’s easy to find food and souvenirs in Banyuwangi, so this could be a good place to stay.

For an affordable price, you get an en suite bathroom, AC, TV, and hot water. The place is clean, with plenty of parking, and it’s close to the city center and local food spots.

There was no receptionist when we arrived, and we had to wait a long time. When someone finally appeared, the receptionist looked annoyed. The room wasn’t up to standard at all, had no wardrobe, and was just not good.
