Artotel Batam

Breakfast was a highlight, with local favourites like Lontong Medan, Martabak Manis, four kinds of Jamu drinks, and keropoks. There’s also a bar and a smoking lounge. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a surprisingly large bathroom for a standard room and the basic amenities. I appreciated the coffee machine, chocolates in the fridge, and full glass windows. Smoking rooms are available, and they can bring an ashtray if you ask. Getting around was easy: Grand Batam Mall is walkable, Nagoya Mall, BCS, and DC Mall are under a 10-minute drive, and Harbourbay Terminal is nearby. There’s a Circle K downstairs and Spa Central down the road. The staff were friendly and seemed well trained, always smiling. We checked in late and were given a queen bed even though we'd booked two singles. The service and stay made the whole trip exciting. 10/10, I’d recommend it to family and friends.

My husband and I liked wandering the neighbourhood to try the local street food. The hotel is conveniently placed near Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal and several malls. Our room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean and had a bidet. Breakfast had a satisfying range, neither too little nor too much. Staff were attentive and helpful, and both check-in and checkout went smoothly. Artotel is a good option to consider for a future trip.

We booked two connecting rooms for four people for two nights. The rooms were clean, simply arranged but had what we needed, and the mattresses and pillows were comfortable. The lighting could be brighter, but otherwise we were satisfied and would recommend it. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, and Grand Batam mall is within walking distance.

Food spots, cafes, and convenience stores were easy to reach on foot from the hotel. We had a studio 30 king room, and it felt roomy, fresh, clean, and easy to move around in. Housekeeping did a good job keeping it in shape. The basics were all there and working: hangers, a safe, chair, notepad, TV, and toiletries. There’s also an in-house bar, in-room massage service, and breakfast with a good variety. A comfortable, fuss-free place to stay.
