The map location is wrong. The hotel is on the corner next to White Tara Buddhist Centre, about 100 m away. Its location is handy for Nagoya Hill Mall, and the price is cheap. Those are the main reasons I’d consider it, since the rest was disappointing. The room was very basic, with poor sound insulation, unstable water supply, an unclean towel, and a bathroom that wasn’t very clean. There were mosquitoes too, so bring repellent if you want to sleep well. I had some with me, luckily. The receptionists were nice, though there was only so much they could do. Breakfast came as sets sent to the room and was okay. There are plenty of nearby places to eat instead. It might suit someone after a cheap room in a good location with low expectations. I gave it two stars for the location, otherwise it’d be one.

The location near Nagoya Shopping Mall is strategic, but the hotel felt dark and smelled bad. The room had a cigarette odor and lots of mosquitoes. For a budget hotel, I think cleanliness and service quality could be improved. I stayed overnight with my wife and our 6-year-old daughter. My first impression of the front office wasn’t good. The receptionist wasn’t responsive or friendly, and when I tried speaking to him a few times, he seemed absorbed in online gaming.

Apart from the good location, everything was terrible. I barely slept because of the mosquitoes and killed at least 6 over 2 days. The bedsheet was super dirty, as if it hadn’t been changed for weeks, and the toilet was dirty too. There was no hair dryer, the aircon couldn’t be adjusted, and the floor trap was clogged. A really terrible experience.

The hotel was completely closed, and its status hadn’t been updated on the hotel search engine. After 4 days, I had to find somewhere else in a hurry, which was exhausting. A terrible experience. Please don’t book here.
